ROB MCCONNACHIE
BA (Economics), MBA, CFA
On completion of his MBA degree at the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business, Rob began his career in financial services as an equity analyst with an independent investment dealer. Soon after, he was recruited by a bank-owned firm, where he became the company’s Special Situations Analyst and received an All-Star ranking by the Financial Post.
Rob then advanced to become Equity Portfolio Manager at a Vancouver-based money management firm, where the equity product generated first quartile performance throughout his tenure. He has also held positions as co-director and director of research at his former firms, adding to the breadth and depth of expertise he now brings to Dixon Mitchell clients and their investment portfolios.
Outside of his duties on Dixon Mitchell’s investment committee, Rob works with charitable and non-profit organizations in a board and advisory capacity.
